2 Minutes Without Caffeine

I got a coffee today and this was the little vibrating thing that let's me know it's ready. It came with movie trailers on it. Because the 2 minutes that you have to wait for your coffee is just too damn long.

24 Inch Secret: Yerba Mate
I found yerba mate at E-Mart! It turns out that South American tea is invading Korea. The writing at the top promises the drinker with get the "24inch secret." It's working. ;) I've always been able to get loose leaf yerba mate for my gourd in Itaewon at the Paraguayan owned, El Comedor, but this is pretty nice too.

2 Cabbages, 5 Jars, 3 Dudes and No Idea
When I got back home to the US in September, one of the first things I did was go on the YouTube, look up how to make kimchi, and do it. Here I am cutting the Napa Cabbage.
Blending my own sauce.
This was the fun part.
We look like we killed something. Me on the right, a Mr. Alex Pearson on the left.
It wasn't the best stuff ever. One jar even molded. However, it was great for cooking with. I'll have better luck next time I hope.

8 Year Olds with Cell Phones and Cow Intestines
These are some students from my oldest group. They are Korean age 9 but are more like 7 or 8. One girl got an Android smart phone the day after this photo was taken.

Cow intestines! I prefer the pig ones though. Also on the grill: mushrooms, onions, tofu, cow heart, stomach and liver.
